The purpose of this study was to ascertain whether Ugandan commercial banks' policies, practices, and procedures matched their modernization goals and pledges to improve supply chain efficiency. It was directed by three primary goals: to ascertain the degree of compliance with procurement policies and procedures; to ascertain the impact of procurement policies and procedures on supply chain efficiency; and to ascertain the obstacles encountered during the implementation of procurement policies and procedures in Ugandan commercial banks. A cross-sectional survey of all Ugandan commercial banks was part of the research design. A questionnaire that was distributed using the "drop and pick later" method was used to gather data. The first objective was analyzed using percentages and frequencies, while the relationship between supply chain performance and business integration was examined using regression analysis. Pie charts and tables were used to display the results. According to the study, the majority of Uganda's commercial banks have implemented procurement policies and practices that have improved their operational accountability, efficiency, and transparency. The R2 value of 0.449, or 44.9 percent, indicated that there was no significant correlation between supply chain performance and procurement policies and procedures. This results in a large unexplained variance of 55.1%, indicating the exclusion of several important predictors.
