This project focused on the design and construction of a simple cell using acids. The simple cell involves two electrodes that is zinc and copper, an electrolyte (dilute sulphuric acidic), connecting wires, and a voltmeter. It involves submerging the electrodes into dilute sulphuric acid along which the values of EMFs will be read from the corresponding volume and concentration of the electrolyte. simple cells are commonly known as batteries which provide a portable form of electrical energy.
