    Although several hindrances threaten the growth and development of the industry, it must be acknowledged tourism remains one of the few viable policy options left for many African economies and must be maximized despite the constraints experienced by the country as landlocked with few natural resources and minimal industry. And it's against such situations that the researcher tries to find out the Impact of social economic development of the host communities in Buhoma town council, Kanungu district. The general objective of the study evaluate the impact of tourism on the social economic development of host communities in Buhoma Town Council.
