Through Paulo Ngologoza's organised efforts, the Bakiga people moved from Kigezi to other parts of Uganda. Several stakeholders, including students, staff, and Faculty, are involved in these activities. Not only are we delighted that the KAB newsletter brings the University close to you, but we are also delighted to note that it provides you with an opportunity to learn about recent developments at your University. As you read this newsletter, you will learn about the University staff that guide our students during their training at Kabale University. As well, we are pleased to observe that the University’s Governing Council and Top Management have been vigilant in steering the University in a progressive strategic direction. This is done through a variety of research, teaching, and learning activities. As stewards, it is our intention and commitment to continue guiding the institution towards higher accomplishments in the future. Moreover, we believe that by sharing information through this newsletter, our website, and other electronic and offline channels, we can provide accountability to you, our stakeholders. As a result of this newsletter, we are also growing our database of local knowledge so that we can make use of it in the future. I would like to thank all the those who contributed to this graduation edition of the newsletter. I hope all those who read it will enjoy it and follow other versions published on the University’s website. As we strive to make Kabale University a destination of learning yearned for by all, we cannot get there alone.
