    The Mbarara District Local Government Archive still faces various challenges ranging from access, dissemination, and storage. Since computers and internet facilities are limited in most offices at Mbarara district local government, the majority of archive users in the district find it difficult to access, retrieve, and use the required information. This therefore calls for the need to explore alternatives to improve the use of ICTs at the Mbarara District Local Government Archive. This study intended to establish the role of ICT in Archive Management in Mbarara District Local Government so as to enhance better service provision.
