dc.description.abstractYouth unemployment is on the rise in Uganda as it poses huge economic challenges and leads to unsustainable growth of the economy. This research aimed to investigate the impact of unemployment on youth development and the nation. The case study was Lubaga Division. Other factors believed to influence the income of individuals are education level, age, gender, and place of residence were statistically significant. Political instability is also significant as it affects the employment levels
