Abstract

This study assessed the impact of the thematic curriculum on mathematics performance at the Primary Seven (P.7) level in selected primary schools in Maziba Sub-County, Kabale District. The specific objectives were to evaluate the effect of teacher training on the implementation of the thematic curriculum, examine the use of instructional materials in the thematic curriculum and their influence on mathematics performance, and identify other factors contributing to the success of the thematic curriculum. By addressing these objectives, the study provides insights into the effectiveness of the thematic curriculum and its role in enhancing mathematics education outcomes.
