Abstract

This study was about the staff attendance management system of Kinyamaseke town council and was guided by the main objectives which were to reduce late coming, absence, and paperwork through developing a well-developed staff attendance management system. The staff members can consult the appropriate system admin on the computer, which has helped them to keep updated about their attendance. To access the services of the designed system. the system admin needs a computer. The study concludes that the research study has led to the successful implementation of the stipulated objectives specified in chapter one of this document. Based on the findings and analysis, the staff attendance management system is a venture worth investing in because it is independent and cost-saving. The study recommends that the system should be well maintained and protected from unauthorized users by creating strong passwords. which are hard to guess by hackers. Any upgrading needed on the system should be unless otherwise done by the system administrator or system designer. I suggested that Flutter as a programming language should be introduced as a course unit because this will help to continue and incoming students improve their programming skills. especially those who may want to specialize in software and system development.
