    The purpose of this study was to find out the Preservation of Information Materials for the Metropolitan University Library in Kisoro District. The study was guided by four specific objectives, to: investigate methods of preservation of information materials in Metropolitan University Library in Kisoro District, find out the role of Preservation of Information Materials for Metropolitan University Library in Kisoro District, investigate the challenges associated with Preservation of Information Materials for Metropolitan University Library in Kisoro District, and suggest possible solutions to the challenges associated with Preservation of Information Materials for Metropolitan University Library in Kisoro District.
