Item Open Access Employees Team Work and Performance of Organizations in Kabale District: A Case Study of Kabale District Local Government.(Kabale University, 2022) Akansasira, Mathiusthe study considered the relationship between employee teamwork and organizations eriommance especially in Kabale district. The study was guided by the benefits of employee teamwork of organization in Kabale district, the relationship between employee teamwork and serf.mance of organization in Kabale district, the factors affecting employee performance of orgarization in Kabale district. The study used descriptive research design that aimed at generating information after the incident had occurred; Qualitative approach included the use of interviews. Data was collected using a questionnaire and interview guide, simple random and purposive sampling method were used. Both qualitative and quantitative methodologies were used to analyze data as a sample size of 44 respondents was used. The study revealed that the benefits of employee teamwork of organization in Kabale district include; team exists to achieve a shared goal, boundedness means the team has an identifiable membership, members of group usua'!y do not take responsibility for any result other than their own, productivity, satisfaction and 1dividual well being is achieved. The study revealed the some of the the relationship between employee teamwork and performance in an organization working as a team increases the efficiency of departments exponentially, working as part of employee teamwork can improve learning and is a much needed skill in today's workplace, teamwork is a joint action by a group of people, teamwork has become an important part of the working culture. Lastly, that the study revealed that the factors affecting employee performance as motivation, repertoire, technology, feed back, goal clarity and knowledge of structure. The study findings concluded showing the benefits of employee teamwork of organization in Kabale district include; team exists to achieve a shred goal, boundedness means the team has an identifiable membership, members of group usually do not take responsibility for any result other than their own, productivity, satisfaction and individual well being is achieved, organizations can be successful if they use all of their human resource capacity, compensation can be removed as an obstacle to effective teamwork.
